Dr. Maini is the founder of the area’s first “Heartburn Center”, which has served as a model for other centers around the country. He was a pioneer in bringing LINX surgery to Syracuse, New York. LINX is an innovative state of the art, same day procedure.
Varicose Vein Procedures
Dr. Maini has been performing minimally invasive, state of the art vein procedures in the office setting for the last 15 years. As these are all office procedures, patients can resume their usual daily routine with little to no recovery time.
Most of these procedures are covered by insurance.

Dr. Maini is a pioneer among robotic general surgeons, he not only has performed more robotic general surgeries than any other surgeon in the area, he also trains & proctors other practicing surgeons in the country in the field of robotic surgery. He specializes in surgeries for reflux management, hernias, and other abdominal surgeries accessible to robotic approach.
